The center, who is rated a four-star prospect by two recruiting services, also signed his letter-of-intent. The early signing period for basketball is Nov. 12-19, while the late signing period is April 15-May 20.

"He liked the coaching staff," Gallon's AAU coach Marland Lowe told Scout.com. "Coach [Oronde] Taliaferro and coach [Jeff] Capel built a very good relationship with him. Ultimately he really loves playing with Tommy Mason-Griffin and he wanted to play with him in college. This was another great opportunity for him to be able to step right in and play right away."

Gallon is coming off a game this past weekend in which he scored 32 points and collected 10 rebounds.
